Bill Thomas founded Thomas Engineering, Inc. to address commercial and industrial businesses’ desire to have their energy use and energy spend managed by a professional on a contract basis who understands the marketplace and can provide long-term cost savings. He is an expert in retail electric tariff application and analysis, with extensive knowledge of Texas SB7, PUCT rulings in the restructured electricity market, and contract management. His approach emphasizes face-to-face business with customers, taking time to personally inspect and evaluate end-use accounts to understand each operation. Bill is a leading expert in ERCOT 4CP management, having contracted over 150 MW of interruptible load annually for the past 15 years. He currently manages energy contracts for over 75 commercial and industrial customers across Texas.
